Just finished watching a rerun of last month's interview with NY Times book reviewer and author Pamela Paul on BookTV . I was impressed with her love of books and her desire to help children develop a love of reading. For anyone with kids, this book could be very helpful.

I have to admit, my eclectic interests are sometimes a challenge when trying to focus. Anyone else have this mixed blessing?

I've been dabbling with writing for many years. Today, three days before my birthday, I've decided that I want to make a career change to write full-time. So, today I am declaring that I will be a screenwriter. I hope you'll join me in my mission to express myself by bringing attention to important issues as well as provide entertainment for as many people as possible. This is exciting!
